Peach Blossoms

I couldn't believe my eyes when I was out walking around
in my back yard last week and saw peach blossoms in January.
I hope we don't have a freeze now and lose everything.

I just love how some of the smaller buds already look like fuzzy little peaches.
Now if I can just keep the pesky squirrels from eating my peaches this year.

I'm still knocking down the dreadful popcorn ceiling.
I have half of my kitchen done now.  I will spare you with the long story and photo's.
But it is a slow go as I'm not used to climbing up and down a ladder and it makes my muscles
ache.. So I have learned to take some much needed breaks. And a lot of hot bubble baths.

Abused Body

I remember when I was younger and set out in the mornings with all kinds of
goals for the day and I always accomplished them and then some.
Now my mind races faster than the body. Sometimes I have to laugh at myself
when I try to set the same goals I did years ago, and I don't even make it
through the first round.  Oh well, what's that saying?
Keep Calm and Carry On?

Thank you all for your sweet comments on last weeks TT,
It made my day to read your comments! :)

I need to come around and visit more of you that I didn't make it to while
I was up on the ladder.  I will be around though !

I used Organic and Aurora Textures by Kim for this weeks Texure Tuesday
Thank you so much for stopping in and looking ♥

These blossoms are exquisite, Sandy. I'm hoping with you that they don't freeze. And I can certainly relate to getting through less of the lists in a day than I used to.

Hi Sandy what a lovely blog you have. I love these soft tones and this peach blossom is gorgeous. Wishing I had flowers to create with. Maybe I should buy some? Have a great Sunday.
